The second quarter of 2023 saw notable performance trends among the top Film & Television apps on the Android platform in Egypt. Here, we break down the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for the top 5 apps, using data from Sensor Tower.

ﺷﺎﻫﺪ - Shahid showed a significant increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $11.8K in the final week of June. Weekly downloads experienced fluctuations, starting at 218K at the beginning of April and dropping to around 72K by the end of June. Active users followed a similar pattern, decreasing from 413K to 286K over the quarter.

WATCH IT experienced varied weekly revenue, with a peak of about $7.5K in late April and ending the quarter at $6.1K. Downloads saw a decline from 101K at the start of April to around 21K in the last week of June. Active users also showed a downward trend, decreasing from 370K to 166K over the quarter.

Disney+ had a peak weekly revenue of approximately $5.5K in early June, with a slight dip towards the end of the quarter. Downloads were relatively stable, ranging from 13K to 6K. Active users remained consistent, starting at 89K in late March and ending at 84K in late June.

OSN+ saw a modest increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $1.7K in the last week of June. Downloads varied, with a high of 25K in the final week of June. Active users showed a slight increase from 151K to 150K over the quarter.

STARZ ON had relatively stable weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $377 in the last week of June. Downloads saw a significant spike to 16.7K in mid-June. Active users increased notably from 7.6K to around 19.8K by the end of the quarter.
